Glad to hear that Alice is back safe and sound. I told Alice’s story to Maggie, hoping it would discourage Maggie’s love of eating sticks. Alas, Maggie didn’t listen. She just dropped the stick she was chewing, moved to a different location in the yard (away from me), and picked up anothter stick to eat. I swear she gave me a smug glance, too – but maybe I’m just imagining it…
