Meet Coedwig’s Shasta, called “Lily”. Lily is a 10-month-old brindle-pointed black who is a great-great-great-great granddaughter of my old girl Julie (she’s sired by Huxley’s nephew Rocky).

While cute, she just isn’t turning out to be a show girl. But she may be a good performance prospect.

Lily’s owner Anne says:

“She has extremely high drive. She would make a great farm dog as her herding instinct is top notch. She would even do well with agility or fly ball.”

Lily is newly spayed, and is ready to move on to a new life.

I’m always telling Buster his ears are a disappointment to me. I pick them up and make them into “corgi ears” and he looks disgusted with me.
If we got another dog right now we’d have to get another car and it’s not in the budget….
But omg, the ears! (and the rest too!)

She reminds me a lot of a standard-coated Denali. The look on her face in the first picture, and that gleam in her eye – this one is full of it! I bet she’ll make a great performance girl!

Lily is gorgeous – and my favorite color, but for now we’re at quota…sigh!

She’s adorable. Good thing Bunny is sitting here barking in my face right now, and I already have a dog named Lily. Oh yeah, and a husband who would divorce me. There are a bunch of billboards for this divorce hot line out here. 1-800-Freedom. There are a lot of things he can take (like when I washed a candle the other night in the washing machine) but I think a 6th dog would push him over the edge.
