Structure Pictures

Posted on October 29, 2023October 29, 2023 By Carolyn Cannon

Turn of stifle.   The stifle joint is the knee of the back leg.  Ideally you would like to be able to cup your hand around it as you stack the back leg of the dog.  I have a few pictures to demonstrate good turn of stifle; the first two with an outline of the leg to show where I mean.

Also: shoulder though I did not mark.  Draw a visual line straight up from the middle of the pad of the front leg and see where the end of the line is.

Movement.  You want to see equal triangles front and rear on extension, and a level topline.
