Kacy was a brindle-pointed blue merle from our first Cardigan litter. Raised in Arizona by a co-owner, I was fortunate enough to reacquire her in November of 1999. She started her show career at nearly four years of age and took a summer off in 2001 for puppies, then finished her championship in August, 2002.
Some ask how it was that I came to repossess Kacy. Well, at her first owner’s place she had to be chained up to keep her from chasing sheep. At the age of 11, she would still get loose and go herding on her own whenever possible.
RAfter Kacy came back to us, she lived for a time with her “Aunt Louise and Uncle Gary” whom she still adores and visits regularly. Kacy’s fondest wish is that we could have a corgi commune and all live together.
Kacy was OFA good, PRA clear through parentage. She was the dam of CH C-Myste Harlem Nights (Alvin) sired by CH Spectrum Harlem Shuffle and the grand-dam of Ch Trustnluk Midnight Sun (Skye) and of Ch C-Myste Mission Impossible (Ethan).
Kacy loves kittens. There have been two times now when we acquired kittens where Kacy has actually lactated to raise them. Kacy has been spayed since she was 6 years old, following her one-and-only litter.
