Especially to Maggie, who earned well over the maximum of 5 points.
Thanks also to Emmie Lou UD, CH Tess who has left a legacy, CH Kacy whom I love, CH Wendy Sue, CH Duncan, CH Fearna, and CH Quincy. Of course I need to mention Hughie as well, though alas the Canadian titles did not count toward the points.
I received Jawoo’s certificate in the mail yesterday.
We met Gary & Louise at Cline Falls on the Deschutes River for a dog-swap and picnic lunch today. It was a pleasant spring day, and only a little chillier on the east side of the mountains.
The dogs said that the river was too cold for swimming, though.
Family portrait on a big rock. In front left to right: Styx, Kacy, Mirrhi, Bilbo, with grandma Julie in the rear.
The old girls enjoyed the sun. Julie dug her usual hole to lay in not long after this picture was taken and someone who shall remain nameless said she was digging her grave.
Just remember: “the good die young.”
Kacy will be staying with Uncle Gary and Aunt Louise for a few weeks while Mirrhi travels to nationals with her mom and brother. And the rest of us.
